Terms & Conditions of Submissions to the #AreYouListeningNow campaign

By submitting your story, child’s voice and home ed alumni you are confirming that:

• School Story: This is your story and it is accurate.
• Child’s Voice: This is a “child’s voice” and it is accurate (please do not coach them).
• Home Ed Alumni: You are over 18, are the person named/show, all the details are correct.

Terms & Conditions: All Submissions:

• You have not included names of teachers/young people/schools – please use “Teacher A” or “School 1” etc
• The language used is appropriate for all ages (eg no swearing)
• You are happy for the information provided to be displayed on the Doing Education Differently Website and used for evidence gathering purposes to promote and further the campaigning and awareness work undertaken by Jenn Hodge or Doing Education Differently or the #AreYouListeningNow campaign.
• You are happy that we might use a quote from your story on the Doing Education Differently website.
• We reserve the right not to publish stories if we feel they will cause offence.
• As we do not collect any identifying information – if you want to have your submission removed in the future please make note of the Submission ID that will be displayed once you have submitted OR/AND the time and date of the submission.

Submission Policy

• All submissions will be manually read and checked by a member of our small team.
• We reserve the right to choose not to publish a submission – including if the submission is spoiled or if AI use is suspected.
• In order to aid readability – we might input some paragraphs into submissions.
• Any name given will be changed to Person X, Y, Z etc so we can be sure that identification is not possible.
