My stories

My School Story
My children suffered bullying from both kids and teachers at school, one of my children is SEN and her sensory toy was taken off her all the time even tho I asked if it was OK for her to have it in school, they wouldn't allow my children to go to the toilet when needed which resulted in my son having an accident. The teachers constantly told my son he was too skinny which he ended up trying to work out to make himself bigger and that ended up with him fainting in the playground and I had to take him to hospital, they continued to tell him he's too skinny.

My daughter constantly got hit and tripped over at school, her shoes would be taken and hid from her. Her learning suffered more and more and the teachers called her stupid and constantly moaned about how she couldn't behave but they wouldn't put in the provisions for her that she needed.
What happened next...
I deregistered my children from school and now we choose what to learn and both my children are happier. They are excited to learn again and they love being a part of the home ed community making good friends, attending activities.
How I think schools could be better.
The teachers need to care more about the children and do what the child needs to be happy and progress, they need to stop any kind of bullying straight away and stop using excuses like kids will be kids.
